Lucky Roostar: custom-made tins
We have completed a wonderful assignment for a Dutch manufacturer of men's grooming products! Lucky Roostar was looking for two custom tins for packaging hair products. It is important that they are able to handle the ingredients of so-called 'hair pomades' and that they have a robust masculine look.
Tins in a travel size
In addition to the requirements for the material and the look, the client also wanted a handy format, so that the products are easy to carry around. Therefore, we have also developed travel size tins.
Custom-made tins for brand perception
The most important function promotional tins have is that they amplify the brand and the perception of the brand. In order to boost brand perception in this case, the designs had to be made in the same house style as the brand. What's more, it is important to create a distinction between the various products by using a clear colour scheme.
Aluminium tins
Aluminium tins are excellent for packaging cosmetics and pomades. Which is why we have opted for this material. The customised round tins are supplied with a screw top lid with an EPE liner. This means that the products can be packaged liquid- and air-tight.
Robust look
We have created that tough and robust look by using a matt finish and vintage colours. Both products, 'strong hold' and 'dry matte', have been given their own 'face'. Due to this robust look, together with the embossing on the lid, the custom tins enhance the brand's high-quality image. Embossing means that the logo is applied by means of a relief.
The result? A handy, practical aluminium packaging for hair products. The custom-made tins have clearly set the tone for the brand. With Lucky Roostar, the brand behind it, Gladjakkers, wants to exude Dutch craftsmanship and it has succeeded brilliantly!
